  14. This installer requires the ORIGINAL disk(s) from Lemmings,Lemmings Budget or
  15. Oh No More Lemmings.
  16.  
  17. It will NOT work for cracked versions.

  19. The HD-Patched game will need about 1.5Mb of memory for the 1 disk version and
  20. 3.5Mb for the 2 disk version, but you can use the HDLOAD tooltype to reduce
  21. memory consumption.

  28. - Works using JOTDStartup (jst), included in the archive.

  52. INSTALLING THE GAME:
  53.  
  54. Just run the installer script relevant to your version.
  55. The installers will install different games in different directories so you can
  56. install all the versions at a time.
  57.  
  58. If you did not install JST before, copy it in your path (better in C:)
  59.  
  60. The installer also checks that you inserted the correct disk. In case of problem
  61. during the installation, you can partially re-install the game by hand using
  62. the rippsyfiles command.
  63.  
  64. After that you just have to adjust the tooltypes and start the game by clicking on
  65. the LemmingsHD icon or by typing LemmingsHD <options> in a shell.

  79. BUGS & COMMENTS:

  81. I had several bug reports from users of the loader who used the Budget version, and
  82. the 2 disked version of the original levels game.
  83.  
  84. When you entered a level code over level 7, it crashed or showed white stripes.
  85. This is now *REALLY* fixed. There were also blocker bugs, sprite bugs...
  86. I found 3 very nasty code checksum routines and I removed them, and looked in a
  87. crack by Skid Row for the other ones. There were 9 checksums !!
  88. Now the game works fine (I hope so!)

  90. Thanks for notifying me about the different problems. This one was really strongly and
  91. cleverly protected!!
  92. I'm not that clever but I stroke the final blow on this f***ing protection
  93. (not hard to cleanup in Oh No More Lemmings versions).

  95. There are some minor bugs in the intro animation (2 disk version).
  96. It works fine from floppy, and I can't figure out why this happens.
  97. Not serious anyway.

  99. This install really meant hard work, because of the strong protection, and also
  100. because of the several different versions that exist.
